LEGO Smoothie Odyssey (UEFN)

While working as a short term contract environment artist with Preloaded, I helped create the LEGO Smoothie Odyssey Fortnite island in UEFN! There was a pretty tight turnaround on this project and I'm incredibly proud of what we achieved in the brief time I spent with the team.
I worked to build out several distinct biomes in this map, from initial prototype greybox to first playable alpha, according to feedback from our client, our playtesters, and with guidance and support from other designers and artists.

I assisted in updating the Luna Lagoon zone from its greybox blockout, adding almost all environment assets here aside from LEGO interactables, foliage and ground tiles. It was hard to choose, but it turned out to be my personal favourite zone in the game

I created the layout of paths and trees in the Lumina Forest zone around the basecamp area

I contributed to the first pass on the Star Peak Mountain Zone, and helped lay out LEGO paths, trees and foliage in the second iteration, as well as creating the tree models used here

Much of the landscape layout beneath the biomes, plus the rivers and paths, were revised by me from our initial early blockouts, and we built the biomes to encourage playful exploration with multiple entrances/exits to each area
